A dialogue with my Inner-Critic

Creativity is difficult. When it flows, it feels easy, joyful. But sometimes, in fact, often – you find yourself competing with the multiple voices in your head.

It’s easy to get trapped by the inner-critic in your brain. The critical voice that shuts you down speaks with such a strong sense of authority that you feel certain it was trained by the Gestapo.

It’s common to fall into a state of complete shutdown. Hypnotised by the voice that claims it wants to protect you, but ends up cutting you off from the most vital parts of yourself.

Here’s a short dialogue of me talking to myself. You may relate to it more than you expect.
