Thank you 2016! Now entering standby mode.

Thank you 2016! Friendships were made, careers launched and casting types redefined. The video below captures an essence of the past year (utilising clips from recent months only). I feel immensely privileged to be able to work with so many upcoming, talented actors.

We are in such a tough industry, where no matter how much you plan, whatever effort you put in, there are no guarantees.

But we have a blast doing it. To be honest, sometimes I’m so busy with this work that I forget to take the time to stop, look back, and to see what we’ve all achieved. The video below represents actors who are just starting out, actors who are established but looking to redefine themselves, and actors who are returning to the industry after some time away.

I’ve closing down shop for the month of December and getting away from everything to do with filmmaking. When I started out doing showreels, the thing I did to set myself apart was to meet every single actor, and to write personalised scenes crafted specifically for them. It’s been a great honour to do that but it also takes something out of me to constantly be both productive and creative. The only way to stay fresh is to stop, look around, and indulge in normal life every now and then. Hence taking a break from new clients. This goes against my very nature but the more I learn about myself the more I realise, this is precisely what I need!

See you all again next year!
