Actor Showreel Filming during Covid-19 Lockdowns

The effect of Covid-19 on our industry has been unprecedented. In regards to how it has affected me personally – I have not been shooting during national lockdowns, nor during the higher tiers in recent months.

I am still open for business, taking on new clients. We meet through zoom and I carry on the writing process the same way as normal.

When it comes to filming – the important thing for me is the health and well-being of everyone involved. While naturally I would love to be shooting more regularly, I am more concerned with the health of the people I collaborate with. While I am confident I can manage shoots with a low risk of transmission, it is not as safe as staying at home, which is of key importance right now.

I’m aware there are potential loopholes where we could film because it’s classed as ‘work’ – but I am fortunate in that my clients have been patient and think in very much the same way as me, let’s keep each other healthy and hopefully we can be back filming normally in a couple of months time.

If you’re interested in booking a showreel or doing an online showreel with me, don’t hesitate to get in touch – I’m still here!
